Two killed, six injured, four houses gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Two people were killed and six others injured while four houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
A vehicle hit and injured two people at Drangbal on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway. The injured were admitted to hospital where one Abdul Samad Sofi died.
Three people on a motorcycle were injured when it turned turtle at Kichhama. The injured where admitted to hospital where one of them died.
An unidentified motorcyclist hit and injured a minor girl, Bismah (5), at Batwara on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway last evening. The injured was rushed to hospital.
A vehicle hit and injured a pedestrian near Frestibal Pampore Joinery Mill. The injured was hospitalised. While one Bashir Ahmad Wagay of Sogam Kokernag in Anantnag district, fell down from a matador and got seriously injured.
Four houses and other structures were mewnwhile, gutted in two different fire incidents at Chandigam Sogam and Hyhama in the frontier district of Kupwara.
