NGO creates huge banner for its campaign against terrorism
Mumbai, Oct 2, (UNI) A city-based NGO today created a huge banner for its campaign against terrorism in an attempt to form the world's longest banner for the Guinness Book of World Records.
Volunteers of Citizen's Council for a Better Tomorrow (CCBT) held together over 600 banners side by side to create the longest one for its four-month long campaign, 'Sign For Harmony To End Terrorism', which culminated today.
The banner was flanked by Maharashtra Director General of Police A N Roy, state Anti-Terrorist Squad chief Hemant Karkare, city Joint Commissioner (Law and Order) K L Prasad and CCBT founder F T Khorakiwala, a release said here.
The campaign was aimed to reinforce the message of Communal Harmony in order to end terrorism, on the occasion of 15th anniversary of the organisation, it added.
