Nanded admin, citizens all set for Guru-Da-Gaddi celebrations
Nanded, Maharashtra, Oct 2 (UNI) The district administration, Municipal Corporation, volunteers and citizens are all set for the tricentenary celebration of Guru-Da-Gaddi, to be held from October 10 to November 4 in the city.
Special attention has been paid to security and cleanliness arrangements. The task of cleaning the huge premises, including the 200 rooms of Yatri Niwas and the Gobind Bag, has been entrusted to the Pune-based Bharat Vikas Group (BVG).
The job of providing security to an estimated 10 lakh devotees, who are expected to participate in the celebrations, will be shouldered by the District Superintendent of Police Ravindra, having the experience of providing security at the Kumbh Mela. Students from various colleges in the city have also agreed to lend a helping hand to Mr Singal, by maintaining vigil during the celebrations and also guiding the tourists.
