Warm, humid weather prevails in Delhi, mercury rises to 34.8 Deg C
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Warm and humid weather persisted in Delhi for the third day today with the mercury rising to 34.8 degree Celsius.
Bright Sunlight, coupled with a high humidity level of 90 per cent, led to a further rise in mercury, maintaining unusually warm condition in the city on the threshhold of autumn.
The maximum temperature increased, from 34.5 Degree yesterday, to 34.8 Degree, one degree above normal.
The minimum was also recorded four degrees above normal at 25.6 degree.
The warm and humid weather in Delhi is likely to persist for the rest of the week with weathermen forecasting mainly dry weather in the city during the next four to five days.
The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in during the next 24 hours.
