Vijayawada, Oct 1 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) will run special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada town and Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam to clear extra rush of the passengers during Dasara holidays.
According to a press release issued here today the Secunderabad-Kakinada town special would depart from Secunderabad at 2230 hrs on October 6, 8t and 12 and arrive at Kakinada town at 0850 hrs on the next day.
The Kakinada town-Secunderabad special would leave Kakinada town at 1930 hrs on October 7, 9, and 13 and arrive in Secunderabad at 0800 hrs on the next day.
The Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special would depart from Hyderabad at 1930 hrs on October one, four, six, eight, 11, 13 and 15 and arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0830 hrs the next day.
In the return direction, the Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad special would depart from Visakhapatnam at 2000 hrs on October two, five, seven, nine, 12, 14 and 16 and arrive at Hyderabad at 0850 hrs on the next day, the release added.
Meanwhile, the Howrah-Vasco-Howrah Amravati express will run on two days in a week instead of, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Vasco and on Mondays and Saturdays from Howrah.
The Guwahati-Chennai-Guwahati weekly express would run from Guwahati on October three and from Chennai on October six.
The Yeshwantpur-Muzaffarpur weekly express would run from Muzaffarpur on October six and from Yeshwantpur from October eight on diverted route via Asansol, Tata Nagar, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsiguda, Bilaspur, Durg, Nagpur, Warangal and Vijayawada, the release said.
The Patna-Ernakulam-Patna bi-weekly express train would run from Ernakulam on October six and from Patna on October nine, on diverted route via Nagpur, Balharshah, Warangal and Vijayawada the release added.
