PM to address seminar at Vigyan Bhawan tomorrow
New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will inaugurate a seminar on 'Initiative on supporting the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme through state legal services authorities' at Vigyan Bhawan here tomorrow.
The seminar will be presided over by Chief Justice of India K G Balakrishnan and will be attended by Union Law Minister H R Bhardwaj along with Union Minister for Rural Development Raghuvansh Prasad Singh.
The welcome address will be delivered by Supreme Court Justice Arijit Pasayat while the vote of thanks will be given by Justice Mukul Mudgal, judge of the Delhi High Court.
The seminar is being jointly organised by the National Legal Services Authority, Supreme Court Legal Services Committee and Supreme Court Middle Income Group Legal Aid Soceity.
Justice Pasayat is the chairman of the organising committee.
The Prime Minister will start his address at 1635 hrs.
