Let this Eid further strengthen the bonds of brotherhood: Vohra

Srinagar, Oct 1 (UNI) Extending his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the joyous and auspicious occasion of Id-ul-fitr, the holy month of Ramzan, Governor N N Vohra said it inspires the people to follow the path of love and compassion and further strengthens the bonds of brotherhood.

''Let this Eid rekindle the spirit of sacrifice and promote deep bonds of harmony and brotherhood,'' Mr Vohra said in his message on the occasion.

He expressed the hope that this festival would usher peace, harmony and tranquility in the state.

The Governor also wished the people good health, prosperity and happiness and said he hoped the festival would be celebrated in the true spirit of the state's composite culture.
