Margao, Oct 1 (UNI) Buoyed by their win against defending champions Dempo in the opener, JCT are looking for another win this time against local team Vasco Sports Club in the ONGC I-League Football championship match, to be played here at Nehru Stadium Fatorda tomorrow.
JCT coach Sukwinder Singh said he was happy with the team's performace in the last match and win against Dempo had boasted his team's morale.
The coach said, ''Our boys are in good spirit and hope they will put up the same performance. Most probably the same team that played against Dempo will play against Vasco.'' JCT are flying high with two foreigners (Edu Advardo and Julius Akapele) in the forward line, Baljit Sahani, Balwant Singh in the middle and defender Anwar, who was adjudged the man of the match in the last match, look a well-balance squad. They are led by captain and goalkeeper Karanjit Singh.
While Vasco Sports Club look rejuvenated with three Uzbek players (midfielder Satrzod Nazarov, defender Yorkin Nazarov and striker Roshan Teshavave). They hope to use the home advatagne to snatch points.
Vasco Sports Club coach Elves Gomes said ''with the inclusion of three foreign players, the team's forward, midfield and defence have been strengthened and boys are prepared to go for outright win.'' He said the boys played a good game against Sporting Club and were happy with their performance in the last match.
Vasco's other key plyers include strikers Agnelo D'Souza and Agnelo Colaco, medio Minino Fernandes and goalkeeper Milagrio Madeira or Laximikant Kattimanio, who put up a fine performanmce under the bar in the last match.
