Heavy rains likely in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram

Pune, Oct 1 (UNI) Heavy rain are likely to occur at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, west Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Konkan, Goa, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman, Nicobar and Lakshadweep Islands.

Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in Jharkhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajashtan, Vidarbha, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka.

The Southwest Monsoon was subdued in Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and kerala.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at few places in east Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha and at isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Day temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and north Rajasthan and some parts of Himachal Pradesh, where Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn. Day temperatures were above normal in Uttarakhand and in some parts of Haryana and south Rajasthan.

The night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan and in some parts of Uttarakhand and west Rajasthan. They were above normal in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir and normal in rest of the regions.
