Mumbai, Oct 1 (UNI) A local court today adjourned hearing in the sensational Neeraj Grover murder case till October 16, amid arguments over translation of the case chargesheet in English from Marathi.

The City Civil and Sessions Court Principal Judge V T Nalawade will assign the trial, involving Kannada actress Maria Susairaj and Emile Jerome Mathew, who allegedly murdered Synergy Adlabs creative head Neeraj Grover on May 7, to another court, that will commence the hearing from October 16.

Mathew, who was present in the court, argued that he had demanded the English translation of the chargesheet, that is filed in Marathi, before the Additional Sessions Court Judge S T Mahajan.

Public Prosecutor R V Kini strongly opposed Mathew's demand and said Marathi was the language of the state and that translation was sought to stall the hearing in the case.

The duo had allegedly stabbed Grover to death at Maria's residence in suburban Oshiwara and disposed off his body at Manor on the outskirts of the city.
