New Delhi, Oct 1 (UNI) There has been considerable improvement in the condition of Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to a hospital here with high fever, but complete recovery and discharge could take some more days, hospital sources said today.
''Mr Dilip Kumar's condition is much better now,''said a spokesperson at the Indraprastha Apollo hospitals, where the yesteryear actor was admitted last week after he developed complications resulting from an urinary infection.
The spokesperson, however, added that the actor's discharge from the hospital could take some more days.
Sources close to the actor have said he is looking forward to returning to Mumbai in time to celebrate Eid and Navratri with his friends and well wishers.
''There is no question of Mr Kumar being discharged before Eid , which falls tomorrow,''the hospital spokesperson said.
The 86-year-old actor, known for his landmark performances in films like 'Devdas', 'Madhumati', 'Ganga Jamuna', 'Mughal-E-Azam', 'Shakti' and 'Karma', was admitted to the hospital last Thursday.
