Bhopal, Oct 1 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party's Creative Work and Voluntary Organisations Cell Convenor Chaitanya Kashyap today said that the Centre and the state governments should formulate a uniform policy for non-government organisations.
''For the first time, our Cell's offshoots were formed in Madhya Pradesh's 30 districts and the Cell is functioning in 23 states. Our objective is to provide help to the last man in the last row of society and people's participation in the Cell is important,'' he told reporters here.
Mr Kashyap said that instead of contemplating monetary benefit, NGOs should serve the people and the BJP's Cell would lead this state's NGOs to generate awareness.
''The Cell will also identify those NGOs who had no transparency in monetary dealings and are indulging in conversion and other anti-national activites in remote areas,'' he warned.
