New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) NDTV Metro Nation, India's first English city news channel, has emerged number one English news channel in the country with the highest market share of 27 per cent, channel sources said.
According to last seven weeks viewership ratings released by TAM, NDTV Metro Nation, which has completed one year, garnered a market share of 26.9 per cent among the English news channels followed by NDTV 24X7 at 24.6 per cent, Times Now at 19.3 per cent, CNN IBN at 16.8 per cent, Headlines Today at 14.4 per cent and News X at 12.2 per cent.
Channel sources said some of the most viewed shows on Metro Nation contributing to its success are- 'The Great Aunty Cookoff', 'Fight For Your Rights', 'Let's Go Delhi', 'Feeding Frenzy', 'U Special', 'Super Shopper' and 'We Speak Like This'.
