Dollar-Rupee fluctuations impact exporters and importers

Hyderabad, Sep 30 (UNI) Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry President Suraj Prasad Agarwal today said the volatile dollar-rupee fluctuations have a significant impact on the financial results of the exporters and importers.

Inaugurating the one-day workshop on 'Managing Your Currency Risk, organised by the Geojit Financial Services, a leading retail financial services company, and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. (NSE) here he said it was therefore critical that they understand the need for effective currency risk management.

Geojit's Head of Sales Mr.Renjith R.G. said in an effort to encourage participants to trade, Geojit has waived brokerage on currency futures trading till September end.
