Chandigarh, Sep 30 (UNI) The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) has decided to renovate power distribution system in Gurgaon by dividing 40 overloaded and lengthier feeders of 11 KV level into the feeders of proper load and length.
A Nigam spokesman said today that under the plan, each feeder having load more than 150 ampere and length more than laid standard would be divided into two or three feeders.
Dividing the feeders, their complete system would be overhauled and additional distribution transformers would be set up as per requirement.
Loading on the distribution transformers would be kept under check and in case of a transformer getting overloaded, a transformer of higher capacity would be installed to cope with the load, the spokesman said.
On a transformer, load less than 70 per cent of its capacity would be put, thus, keeping 30 per cent safety part.
He said that sufficient number of customer care enters would be set up in Gurgaon to give single window service to the customers.
The centres would be supported with the latest information technology to attend redress complaints of customers promptly and courteously, he added.
