Britney says 'Womanizer' is a girl anthem
Washington, Sep 30 : Popstar Britney Spears has branded her new single 'Womanizer' as 'a girl anthem'.
The 'Hit me Baby One More Time' hitmaker stated that the song is an empowering anthem for girls and that's why she likes it.
"It's basically saying, 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls, It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it," People magazine quoted Britney, as telling New York's Z100 radio station.
The song is the first single from Spears's upcoming album, Circus, due to release in December.
The 26-year-old won three awards this year at the VMAs, including one for video of the year for "Piece of Me".
