Rs 1,200 cr for drinking water, irrigation schemes
Mandi, Sep 29 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government would spent Rs 1,200 crore on drinking water and irrigation schemes in the state during the current financial year.
Irrigation and Public Health Minister Thakur Ravinder Singh Ravi while talking to mediapersons here today said that out of this total amount Rs 106 crore would be spent in Mandi district. As many as 2,000 hand pumps would be installed during this year, he added.
