Tirupati, Sep 29 (UNI) Condemning the recent attacks on places of worship in Karnataka, a peace march was taken out in the town by Telugu Desam Party(TDP), Praja Rajyam Party(PRP), Left parties and Church Fathers' Welfare Association today.
About 300 activists led by CPI(M) leader Kumar Raju, CPI leader Harinadh Reddy, TDP leader Narasimha Yadav, PRP leader Ashok Samrat and Church Fathers' Association leader Martin took out the march from Municipal Corporation to the busy four pillar junction for propagation of peace and communal harmony among the public.
They appealed to the public to maintain communal harmony and condemn such incidents on place of worship.
They also demanded that the government arrest those responsible for the attacks.
