Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) The Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) of the city police today claimed to have cracked an international drug supply racket with the arrest of an Israeli and a local drug peddler and seizure of 475 ecstasy tablets and four hundred LSD drops, worth Rs forty lakh in the international market, from their possession.

Addressing mediapersons here, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vishwas Nagare Patil said this was one of the largest seizure in the last five years.

Acting on a tip-off, the ANC sleuths laid a trap and nabbed Tukaram alias Shiva Savlo Salgaonkar (29) and seized tablets and LSD, which he was to supply to a party at Carter Road, Bandra in the western suburb here, on September 18.

The sleuths later arrested an Israeli national Dudu alias Driham Moises David from Goa on September 20, following Tukaram's revelation that he had received the consignment from Dudu, Mr Patil said.

Mr Patil said seized drugs are called ''hallo sonic'' drugs and are used in rave parties, pubs and discos as well.
