Kumble,Dravid,R P Singh arrive in city, camp begins tomorrow

Bangalore, Sep 28 (UNI) Test captain Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and speedster R P Singh arrived in the city today to take part in the six-day conditioning camp to be held at M Chinnaswamy stadium, the venue of the first of the four-test series against world champions Australia, beginning on October 9.

The official sources said the probables would undergo the conditioning camp from tomorrow at National Cricket Academy(NCA) campus, adjoining the cricket stadium under the watchful eyes of NCA Chief Dav Whatmore.

Star batsmen Sachin Tendulkar, V V S Laxman and other members of the squad, barring those taking part in the President's XI team that plays Aussies in the four-day game beginning in Hyderabad from October 2 would arrive in the city tonight.

The squad for the first two tests would be announced during the week, the sources added.
