Drinking water supply scheme for residents of Bilaspur
Shimla, Sep 28 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said the government had approved a drinking water scheme to provide 70 liter water per person per day to 70,519 residents of Bilaspur Sadar, Kot Kehloor and Ghumarwin assembly segments.
This was stated by Chief Minister in his inaugural address at the 29th CBSE North Zone Centre-13, Annual Athletic Meet-2008 at Bilaspur today.
He said tht the scheme would be costing to Rs 64,68,21,000. He said that the proposed scheme would benefit over 48,000 population of Bilaspur Sadar, about 11,000 of Kot Kehloor and over 11,000 of Ghumarwin Assembly segment.
He said that a minimum of 70 liters of water would be made available to every resident of the area on completion.
