One arrested with fake currency in Rajouri
Jammu, Sep 27 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police today apprehended one person and seized fake currency from his possession in Rajouri district, sources here said.
''A youth identified as Rasheed visited a local shop and gave a fake currency note of Rs 500. The shopkeeper identified the note as fake and informed the police,'' sources told UNI.
The police however, arrested the youth and during frisking, fake currency with a face value of Rs 3500 was recovered from him.
A case has been registered against him while an operation has been launched as more people are likely to be arrested in this context, sources added.
