Liz Taylor makes first public appearance following reported heart failure
London, September 27 : Dame Elizabeth Taylor has returned to the public eye- weeks after she was put on life support following reported heart failure.
The Oscar-winning actress, who has long been campaigning against killer diseases, received hospital treatment earlier this month.
"Ms Taylor is fine," Telegraph quoted her rep, as saying.
"Her hospital visit was precautionary," the rep added.
It was reportedly said that her family was warned against her weak condition and that she might not survive.
Taylor, who was made an honorary dame by the Queen in 2000, suffers from congestive heart failure i.e. where the heart is too weak to pump blood around her body.
Plagued with poor health, Dame Elizabeth has had both hips replaced and a benign brain tumour removed in 1997.
