Kingfisher launches Mumbai-Nanded air services
Nanded, Maharashtra Sep 27 (UNI) After visiting the newly built aerodrome, to palpate a possibility of launching an air service, the technical team of the private air line Kingfisher expressed its satisfaction over the necessary infrastructure made available in the city and consented to launch the air service.
To tune the preparation being made for the forthcoming Guru-Da-Gaddi celebration, scheduled from October ten to November four in the city , the air service will be launched on the route of Mumbai-Latur-Nanded-Mumbai from October six.
It will be formally inaugurated in the presence of the Union Minister for Civil Aviation Mr Praful Patel and the Home Minister Mr Shivraj Patil Chakurkar on October four. The 16 members team lead by the senior manager of Kingfisher Prakash Mirpuri inspected the strip and checked the availability of necessary infrastructure at the aerodrome.
The flight will carry 66 passengers. The fare will be Rs 3,500 to Rs 4,000 for Mumbai-Nanded and Rs 1,800 to Rs 2,000 for Nanded-Latur. The aerodrome has been constructed by incurring an expenditure of Rs six crores.
