Belfry, Sep 27 (UNI) Indian ace Jeev Milkha Singh fired one-under 71 to occupy the tied seventh spot after the second round of the Quinn British Masters here today.
He was joined at the top of the leaderboard by Lee Westwood, who remains on course to defend his crown.
After the play was suspended after the 12th hole yesterday, Jeev had two quick bogeys on the 13th and 14th holes on the resumption which eroded the advantage which he gained with the rare hole-in-one on the seventh hole.
Shiv Kapur with a one-under 71 moved to one-under 143 and was placed tied 25th after second round.
Another Indian in the fray, Jyoti Randhawa, crashed out with a poor two over 74.
The Chandigarh pro bogeyed four holes between the 13th and the 18th and totalled five-over after two rounds to miss the cut.
