Pune, Sep 27 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and coastal Gangetic West Bengal.
Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Andaman and Nicobar, and at a few places in Arunchal Pradesh, interior Gangetic West Bengal. They are also to occur at isolated places in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Konkan, Goa, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Kerala.
Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail in Gujarat, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, south coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalseema, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.
The south-west monsoon has been subdued in Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala.
Heavy rains have occurred at isolated places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
