New Delhi, Sep 27 (UNI) Four Steps, a Research, Training and Rehabilitation Center for Children with Special Needs and a Unit of Dalmia Sewa Trust, celebrated its annual day today at the LTG Auditorium, New Delhi.
Children battling mental and physical challenges presented a colourful performance with lots of fun, clearly demonstrating the many hours of zealous practice put in by them.
With environment as its theme the underlying objective the entire effort was to enhance the ability and knowledge of the special children through such events wherein their talent can be showcased to the world.
The children highlighted their ''can do, will do'' spirit with specially choreographed music, dance and theatre performances.
The programme which lasted over an hour started with an invocation, followed by solo and group dance performances, and a Hindi play.
Founder of Four Steps, Ms Jayanti Dalmia said, ''My child has taught me never to underestimate her potential, but to face with courage the challenges that life has given us.
