New Delhi, Sep 27: In another attempt, Pakistani militants tried sneak into Pargwal sector of Jammu district on Saturday, Sep 27. However, the infiltration bid was successfully foiled by the Border Security Force (BSF).
Reports suggest that around ten to twelve militants tried to sneak into the Indian territory, as unprovoked firing started at the border from the Pakistan side. The Border Security Force immediately retaliated and foiled the infiltration bid. It is, however, unclear as to who provided militants, the backfire - the Pakistani Army or their fellow militants.
The incident once again reminded that 'the city of temple' is still on militant's radar, as Pargwal is hardly 20 Kms away from Jammu.
About three weeks back, militants had entered the Indian side in the Kalachak area of Jammu and even held residents of a house hostage, before they were gunned down by the security forces.
