UP gangster, carrying Rs 2,500 reward on him, held
New Delhi, Sept 26 (UNI) The Crime Branch sleuths have arrested a notorious gangster, carrying a bounty of Rs 2,500 on his head and involved in several cases of murder, dacoity and car-jacking in Uttar Pradesh.
Ikram alias Arif was nailed from Rohini area of North-West Delhi, said the police, adding a .315 bore pistol was recovered from his possession.
He was a named 'wanted' in UP and the reward on him was to be enhanced from Rs 2,500 to Rs 10,000.
