Jamshedur, Sep 26 (UNI) A day after Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) expressed its inability to hold the fourth ODI between India and England due to alleged inavailbility of Keenan Stadium, Tata Steel today blamed the JSCA for possible shifting of the venue.

In a statement the Tata Steel said they came to know from media reports that the JSCA has declared to the BCCI that they will not be in a position to hold the ODI at Keenan Stadium, Jamshedpur, because Tata Steel has not made the stadium available to them, quoting safety concerns.

''It is indeed a pity that the JSCA has taken this hasty step without consulting the company, as the Tata Steel has always maintained that the request from JSCA is under active consideration and its engineers' report on the status of the galleries was awaited.

We are aware of the interest of the people of Jamshedpur in the ODI and as such were expediting the process of inspection.

The JSCA has only been writing letters and giving media interviews and have never considered it important to discuss the details with the steel company'', the statement said.

The ODI was scheduled to be held on November 23.
