Kolhapur, Sep 26 (UNI) Shiv Sena city chief Rajesh Kshirsagar today condemned Maharashtra revenue minister Narayan Rane for his alleged remarks against the Party.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Kshirsagar said Mr Rane is frustrated and out of his mind, because of his failure to get the chief minister's post despite of his rebellious activities in Congress and hence he is making anti-Shiv Sena statements.
Mr Rane, during his visit to Kolhapur yesterday, had said after his exit from Shiv Sena, the Party exists only for name. Mr Kshirsagar said if Mr Rane makes any such statement in the future, he would have to face the wrath of the Shiv Sena activists.
''Before making statements against anyone, Mr Rane should first look into the rampant corruption in his own revenue department,'' he said.
Earlier, the Shiv Sena activists gathered at Padalkar market area here and burnt Mr Rane's effigy.
