Kochi, Sep 26 (UNI) Remains of Malayalee nurse Rani Krishnan (26), who was killed in a car bomb exlosion in San'a, the capital of Yemen, on September 17, were brought back home today.

Rani's body was brought to the Nedumbaserry International Airport, near here, on a Qatar Airways flight.

She was among the 16 people killed in the car bomb explosion outside the US Embassy in San'a.

Her father Prasad Krishnan, relatives and friends were present at the airport to receive the body, which was accompanied by Mr V K Rajan and Mr Pushkaran of the Yemen Malayalee Association.

Her relatives alleged the Indian Emabassy in Yemen did nothing for the early release of her body from there.

Later, the body was taken to Laxmi Nivas in Manakkadu near Thodupuzha in Iddukki District for final rites.

Rani had taken up employment in Yemen four months ago and was going to her hospital when the explosion took place.
