London, Sept 26 : A bungalow in Lancashire is at the centre of allegations that it was being used as a sadomasochistic dungeon.
Police and council officials are investigating activities at the 585,000 pounds detached property in Fulwood, Preston, Lancs, following complaints about activities in the quiet suburban home.
The officials attention had been brought to a website on which the premises, in a quiet suburban area, were advertised as "The House of Pleasure and Pain."
The website, currently "down for maintenance", described the premises as giving people the chance to dress up as adult babies and offers "outdoor domination", "schoolroom scenarios" and experiences in the woodland.
It states that a "Mistress Storm" does not offer any sexual services, but describes her as a brown-haired, blue eyed 44-year-old "natural born sadist".
"Any money paid to the ladies listed on this website is for their time and companionship alone. Whatever else that may occur is the choice of consenting adults," Telegraph quoted a disclaimer, as stating.
A 69-year-old man who lives nearby said residents were "staggered" at the revelations.
Another neighbour said: "We thought a disabled man lived there and that they ran a website business. We just assumed the traffic was related to that."
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "We attended and offered advice about things such as fire alarms and marked exits.
"If it is found to be operating as a business there would be shortfalls. But until that decision is made, as a domestic property, we can only offer advice."
Police and Preston city council are continuing investigations into activities at the premises.
