3-day Neurological
Rajkot, Sep 26 (UNI) At least 300 delegates from across the world are taking part in the three-day Neurological and Spinal Cord World Conference, that started here today.
The conference, organised by Neuro Spinal Surgeon Foundation of India (NSSFI), is witnessing participation of delegates from UK, Russia, Japan, Indonesia, South Korea, Egypt, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The organising president of the NSSFI Neuro-surgeon Dr Prakash Modha said, ''We will hold workshops for neuro-spinal surgeons at Government Medical College on Cadaver (body). Besides this, we will hold live surgical demonstration for fracture of vertebra, micro/endoscopic disectomy of vertebra and symposia for general practitioners for more awareness about spinal disease and its management at the meet.'' The minimum invasive spine surgery and other latest developments in the field would also be taken up at the meet, Mr Modha added.
There will be a special session to guide family physicians on backache and sciatica management, he opined.
