Hyderabad, Sept 25 (UNI) Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam(TTD) Chairman D K Adikesavulu today said the TTD would cover 'Ananda Nilayam' in Tirumala temple with gold and protect the sanctitity of the temple.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the TTD would estimate the cost of gold in a few days and execute work transparently.
Stating that TTD had taken several mesures to protect the sanctity and security of the temple, Mr Adikesavulu said, TTD's Dharma Prachar Parishad(DPP) had taken up several spiritual programmes to protect 'Hindu Dharma' and it would continue in future.
The Chairman said the board also sanctioned Rs two crore to Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences(SVIMS) for acquiring sophsiticated equipments like monitors, ventilators and dialysis machines to treat patients in the Institute.
He said Brahmotsavams would be conducted for nine-days from October one. The programme would commence with Dwajarohanam on October one, followed by Garuda Seva on October five, Golden Chariot on October six , Rathotsavam on Octber eight and conclude with Chakrasnanam on October nine.
Necessary arrangements were made at the temple for the convenience of the pilgrims during the festival, he added.
