Mumbai, Sept 25 : Bollywood film "Hari Puttar: A Comedy of Terrors", premiered in Mumbai, after being cleared by an Indian court in a case filed by Warner Brothers accusing it of plagiarizing the "Harry Potter" brand on Thursday.
The producers of the film felt relieved when a court on Monday, dismissed Warner Bros's petition against 'Mirchi Movies', the makers of Bollywood film 'Hari Puttar' over the claimed similarities in the title and content of the international film 'Harry Potter'.
The premiere of the film was attended by cast and the crew of the film and Bollywood's glitterati.
The film is directed by Lucky Kohli and Rajesh Bajaj.
It stars Sarika, Jackie Shroff, Zain Khan, Swini Khara, Saurabh Shukla and Vijay Raaz.
'Hari Puttar' is the story of a young boy fighting two criminals who try to steal a secret formula devised by boy's scientist father.
Actress Sarika who has returned to Bollywood after a hiatus felt that film was truly meant for the children.
"It is a film full of fun and there won't be any tears and no sad moments. It is a kind of film which promises a lot of fun and that is there. It is a very sweet film which is truly for the children," said Sarika.
Child Artist, Zain Khan who plays the main protagonist Hari Puttar in the film said that he had really worked very hard for this role.
"It (enacting the role of Hari Puttar) was not tough at all actually because I really rehearsed and practiced a lot for this role. I used to take the script home and read it in front of mirror so that I could mug it," said Zain.
Lyricists Sameer, Vishal Navnit and Kuku Prabhash have penned the lyrics of the film while Music Director Duo of Aadesh Shrivastav and Guru Sharma have given the music.
The film is slated for September 26 release.
