There is a need to invest funds of at least USD ten lakh dollars (one USD is equal to six Pulas, the Bostswana's currency). At present, there are very few industries run by Indian operators, despite strong economy of Botswana. There is less criminal activity and the security is tight at every corner of Botswana. There is no panicky situation at the various mine sites in the country.'' She said besides the investments, there is a scope for trade and investment promotion, promotion of culture, tourism and other similar activities.
