Financial crisis not to hit Honda's profit: Fukui
New Delhi, Sept 25 (UNI) Honda Motor Company today said its profit forecast and planned sales numbers will not be substantially affected by the global financial crisis.
''After a month, we will make a formal announcement...I don't believe there will be any substantial change,'' Honda Motors President and CEO Takeo Fukui told reporters in the capital while unveiling a new version of the City, Honda's best-selling compact sedan in India.
The company's strong line-up will ensure there is no major impact on the sales volumes, he added.
Meanwhile, he also said that India's free trade agreement with the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) can help get the company components from India at a cheaper rate.
