Lucknow, Sep 24 (UNI) Special Task Force (STF) has been pressed into job to search for former home minister for state Rajendra Tripathi's 15-year-old grandson Rishu Tripathi, who went missing late last evening in Goerge Town area of Allahabad district.
UP ADG (law and order) Brijlal here today said both local police and STF were hunting for the kidnappers.
Several police teams had been constituted for the speedy recovery of the minor.
Yesterday, Rishu left home along with Saurabh Upadhyaay, Prashantmani Upadhyay and Gunjan Yadav, around 1100 hrs. Saurabh left a message on the minister's servant's mobile that they were with Rishu and might reach home late, sources said.
Later, Rishu's father called at the number and learnt that the call was made from a dhaba situated at Amava.
The dhaba owner informed that three to four people came in a car at his dhaba to make a call as their mobiles had no siganls.
An FIR has been lodged against the trio and a case of abduction was registered.
