Slight rise in mercury but weather stays pleasant
New Delhi, Sep 24 (UNI) Pleasant weather prevailed in Delhi for the second day today even though the mercury rose slightly to 32.5 degree Celsius.
A clear and bright sunny sky today led to a rise in maximum temperature, from 31.5 degree Celsius yesterday, to 32.5 Degree C.
However, cool air continued to prevail in Delhi with the maximum being one degrees below normal.
The minimum was also recorded one degree below normal at 22 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the weatherman said forecast withdrawal of the monsoon from several parts of Northwest India by the weekend, indicating that Delhi could be on the threshold of Autumn.
The Met office has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
