One killed four injured in factional clashes
Kohima, Sep 24 (UNI) In a big jolt to the ongoing reconciliation process among the underground factions in Nagaland,the rival factions of NSCN clashed in Dimapur, killing one NSCN (K) cadre and injuring four others including two civilians.
Official sources here today said unidentified gunmen started firing in a hotel in the Burma Camp area of Dimapur town yesterday, killing one NSCN (K) cadre on the spot and injuring two others of the same outfit.
In the shootout one salesman of the hotel, where the underground cadres were taking food also injured.
Those injured were rushed to Dimapur Civil hospital except the salesman who was admitted to Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh.
In a separate incident, unidentified miscreants fired into a saloon in the Diphupar area of Dimapur town where one NSCN-IM cadre was trimming hair. The barber was injured in the incident.
