Kolkata, Sep 24 (UNI) LG Electronics India Private Limited (LGEIL) will invest Rs 30 crore for promotion of its new LCD tv and has targeted 30 per cent market share in the Flat Panel Display (FPD) segment by this year end.
This was announced here today by Mr Amitabh Tiwari, Business Group Head, Consumer Electronics and Kitchen Appliances, LGEIL, while launching its new LCD tv for the festive season-"Jazz." Mr Tiwari said available in 32 and 42 inches, "Jazz" would redefine expectations for television sound as it was for people, who wanted a full entertainment experience from their tvs and to entertain others as well.
'' With built in 3.1 channel surround sound, sliding speakers and excellent picture quality 'Jazz' is one step above the rest and through this launch we plan to garner 30 per cent market share in the FPD segment by this year end, '' he observed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Nabendu Bhattacharjee, Regional Manager (East), LGEIL, said, '' We believe in constant expansion of our existing product portfolio by offering customised display solutions to our Indian audience. '' Mr Bhattacharjee also informed that the company had achieved a turnover of Rs 9500 crore in the last year.
'' Going forward, aesthetics fused with stylised design and smart technology will play a major role in capturing customer loyalty and we will continue to launch revolutionary products like 'Jazz' which will further complement the urbane lifestyle of its audience and strengthen the East market, '' he maintained.
