George Michael flees UK to avoid media following drugs bust
Washington, September 24 : Pop musician George Michael, who was busted by the police for drug possession, has left Britain in order to keep away from the media.
According to Contactmusic, the English singer was found in possession of cocaine and marijuana in the Hampstead Heath area of north London on September 19.
He was consequently detained by the police and let off with a warning.
Following the incident, the singer issued an apology to his fans for his behaviour on September 21.
The 45-yar-old is reported to have hurried away from the cameras to an undisclosed location in a select Harrods' jet with his partner Kenny Goss on September 23.
