Dr Kalam to meet students in Allahabad

Allahabad, Sep 24 (UNI) Students will have an interactive session with the former president and eminent scientist A P J Abdul Kalam here on Friday.

It would be memorable day for the students of SS Khanna Girls' Degree College, Tagore Public School&SK Inter College run by Sarswat Khattri Pathshala (SKP) society and for the students of other CBSE institutions as they will get an opportunity to meet the nobel laurate.

Talking to mediapersons in a press conference, secretary of SKP Society Shri Rajeev Khanna informed that Dr Kalam will aboard flight at 1330 hrs from New Delhi and will land at Bamraulli airport by 1555 hrs and by 1630 hours he is expected to arrive at SS Khanna Girls' Degree College.

Escorted by the deputed team, Dr Kalam will be flanked by Justice Markandeya Katju, who is also the patron of SKP society and Mrs Rupa Katju.

A comprehensive program has been chalked out for the purpose, whose presiding guest will be the Allahabad University VC Dr GRG Harshe and the guest of honour Justice of Allahabad High court GS Gokhle.

On the occasion, Dr Kalam will unveil the foundation stone of the college auditorium. He will also present medals and prizes to the meritorious students of SS Khanna Girls' Degree College, Tagore Public School and SK Inter College for their outstanding performances in different fields.
