Ranchi, Sep 24 (UNI) A bomb hoax continued to create panic for the second time in the state capital following a phone call about the presence of bombs in a school here today.
The principal of Surendranath school received a phone call at about 0800 hrs threatning them about the presence of bombs on the school premises.
''The callers dared that only two hours were left to save the lives of school children,'' the principal said.
The police team swung into action after being intimated about the incident but no bomb was recovered from the spot.
Senior Superintendent of Police M S Bhatia said stern action would be taken against the culprit.
Earlier, on September 17 a similar hoax call was received by the principal of DAV Shyamli.
Last month police recovered a bomb from a shopping mall located at the Mahatama Gandhi road.
The bomb was later diffused by the anti-bomb squad.
