Advani, Rajnath to attend Bhopal's BJP 'Mahakumbh'
Bhopal, Sep 24 (UNI) Former deputy premier L K Advani and Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh would make workers from various parts of Madhya Pradesh take a resolve, during a BJP Mahakumbh here tomorrow coinciding with Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary, for ensuring the party's victory in the assembly polls scheduled in November and the general elections thereafter.
''Preparations are complete and workers from every polling centre will attend. Former party presidents Murli Manohar Joshi, M Venkaiah Naidu and ex-Union minister Sushma Swaraj will guide the workers,'' BJP state President Narendra Singh Tomar told reporters today.
When asked about the teeming crowds that made a beeline for Bharatiya Jan Shakti Founder-President and former chief minister Uma Bharti's 'Suraaj Sankalp' (Resolve for Good Governance) Rally here on Monday, he claimed that the BJS and BJP could not be compared.
''The decision to organise the Mahakumbh was taken six months back. I do not want to say anything further on this. The BJP will continue in power in Madhya Pradesh and maximum stress will be on giving tickets to women and youth,'' Mr Tomar said.
