YBR gets warm welcome, reaches Nagpur for night halt

Pune, Sep 23 (UNI) A grand reception was accorded to the Youth Baton Relay (YBR), part of the Commonwealth Youth Games 2008, at Wardha before their journey towards Nagpur for the night halt.

The YBR has been attracting the masses and at the same time projecting the much needed sports culture, creating environmental awareness and promoting ''save the tiger'' mission.

The YBR was received by the Vice-Chancellor and MP Datta Meghe, Collector Anup Kumar Yadav and District Athletic Association secretary Ramesh Bute, among others.

After passing through various parts of the city, YBR's run concluded at the Sports Complex.

The relay then moved via Selu and Boti Bori and then proceeded to Nagpur to have a night halt.
