One gets life term in murder case
Muzaffarpur, Sep 23 (UNI) A local fast track court today sentenced an accused to life imprisonment in a murder case.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on the convict.
Designated judge Vijay Kumar Mondal found guilty Bhagawan Mahato under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code and awarded him life term.
According to the charges, the victim, a dweller of the Singahi village under Pakh police station, was brutally murdered by the convict on March 9, 2003 following a land dispute.
A case was filed in this regard.
