Mohun Bagan tie up with Suvidhaa for selling tickets

Kolkata, Sep 23 (UNI) Mohun Bagan today became India's first soccer club to have a professional agent for selling their match tickets for 2nd ONGC I-League across the country.

Announcing the tie-up with SIPL(Suvidhaa Infoserve Pvt ltd), a logisctics, headquartered in Mumbai, Mohun Bagan secretary Anjan Mitra said the SIPL would be the sole agent for selling tickets from its 90 outlets in the city.

Mohun Bagan play the opening match with Mumbai FC at Barasat Stadium on Saturday.

Mr Mitra said since All India Football Federation (AIFF) has authorised Mohun Bagan to sell their match ticket from last year, the turning up of club supporters has increased. Now with the new management in distribution of tickets, the earnings from selling would also go up due to hassle free system.

Coach Karim Benchrifa, who on his debut in Bagan pocketed first trophy- Sahara Kolkata Premier League, said this was absolutely professional approach for any club to achieve its goal.

The Moroccon coach said he was satisfied the way club was preparing itself for I-League.

Captain Baichung Bhutia said now no fans would go empty handed and this would enlarge the support base of the club.

SIPL's vice-president Alok Jha said the tickets would be sold to the supporters right at the doorstep.
