Care Hospitals to host workshop on cardiology
Hyderabad, Sep 23 (UNI) CARE Group of Hospitals will hold a series of Master Class session on cardiology, cardiac surgery and various operative and interventional procedures, its Chairman B Soma Raju said today.
Talking to newspersons here Mr Raju said the inaugural session on ''Tetralogy of Fallot''(blue baby syndrome) would be held on September 27 and 28.
For the first time, those dealing with subspecialities in treatment of children with heart diseases would meet to discuss strategies for management of ''Tetralogy of Fallot'', he said.
Internationally-renowned surgeons, including Dr K M Cherian from Chennai, Dr G Suresh Rao from Kochi, and Dr Savithri Srivastava from New Delhi would take part in the workshop, Care Hospitals Cardiothoriacic Surgeon B R Jagananath said.
Master Class sessions in Tetralogy of Fallot would comprise didactic updates and live demonstrations, various operative and interventional procedures to treat ''blue babies''.

four

birth
defects
in
the
heart
namely
a
ventricular
septal
defect,
pulmonary
stenosis,
override

Aorta,
right

be
domonstrated
and
discussed,
he
said,
adding
''we
plan
to
hold
at
least
two
such
workshops
in
a
year,
one
on
heart
diseases
in
children
and
one
on
heart
diseases
in
